I love the internet i really do and the people that take the time to do stuff like this! it’s like when i grow up music teachers would go on about how complex everything is and how we would get it and we would have to take months of lessons, but i get this! it’s been put nice and simplely, thank you!

Thank you. I’m in a music appreciation class and couldn’t fully grasp reading notes on a music sheet. Walt answered better than the teacher in class, I now understand how the beat sounds, egbdf and face. Very clear and understandable board examples.

Ok, i am having a bit of trouble. I know all the notes and where they are located on the staff because I play guitar. But what i was having trouble with is… how do I know exactly where the music wants me to play the note if there are so many places to choose from? Would grately appreciate your help.

@JPiiiX it really doesn’t matter, on a practical view. It will still be played the way it is written on the staff :D
