    learning to read music

i personaly, have been a percussionest for 6 years in my school. and even though i dont know any major music websites like that, you can try youtube and type in “how to tune a timpani drum.” im guessing timpani because thats the only percussion instrument that you tune.

    How to Read Music Notes

I only know about the piano, I have no experience with any other instrument other than the Violin, which I have never learned to read music for, I simply played what the violin teacher wanted. So, I am unsure if music notes are different on different instruments. But, this site helped sooooo much. I’m hoping it will help you as well. It has pictures of the notes, and it also has very descriptive writing.
In the next site, , on the bottom left hand corner (most of the time, when you first click on the site, it’s on the bottom CENTER), it will say “On to… (whatever is the next step)”. On this site, it is more categorized, for example: Clefs, Time Signatures, Types Of Notes, and so on. But, the information is not given to you in long paragraphs, like the other site. And this site, (DataDragon.Com), has more pictures, while the first site, (NotationMachine.Com), has more reading to do.
I hope this helps a lot, oh and, the DataDragon site, didn’t say if it was for piano, or any specific instrument, it had only said, how to read music.
    Good luck!
