Does anyone know a good guitar lesson site, or something i can download where the primary focus is on scales and solo-ing? I want to learn to solo, and i’m assuming i’m going to need to learn to read music, and the scales and whatnot.

How to Read Music
The best thing I can tell you to do is get actual lessons in person. Lessons online don’t give you the feedback you need to really get good.
Learn some scales and buy a step-by-step guitar book. It’ll be tedious learning one note at a time but its the only way to really get away from tabs and onto actual music theory.
Buuuut if you’re just looking to solo, I recommend finding tabs of the Pentatonic scales, especially E Pentatonic. A good deal of the solos you hear from basic rock bands are just composed of flying up and down that scale.
