For years I have studied piano basically using the internet and books I have and watching video after video on youtube and I just don’t get it,I just put my keyboard in storage with all of the other junk and I am planning never to try to learn piano again cause it is just way too hard and I can’t memorize the thousands of things you need to memorize.

Learn How to Read Music
Well theres a difference between being able to play piano and understanding how to read music. Sure it’s a good thing for a real musician to know, but i don’t think you should just give up on playing piano completely because you don’t understand all the unnecessary stuff.
I agree it is very hard to learn, I play guitar and I barely read music at all, and i just transfer what i know about guitar over to piano and bam all of a sudden you’re jammin. You could always just switch to guitar it’s way easier.
