Learn How to Read Music Notes
Learn your major and minor scales, those are very handy for the blues and rock. Once you know your scales you can pretty much create your own chords. Try and stay away from tabs, thats really for people that can’t read music. And remember power chords and bar chords are your friend.
How to Sight Read Music
be patient and keep playing it,, apply knowing what you already,, HINT: one of the things you already know discipline is the key
