A hilarious motion picture about being the underdog is “Dodgeball, A True Underdog Story”. A silly and funny movie about how owner of a gym called Average Joe’s gym and how he and his buddies must win a dodgeball tournament in order to save the gym from being taken over by Globo Gym, a franchise.
The film stars Vince Vaughn as Peter, the procrastinating and underachieving proprietor of Average Joe’s gym and Ben Stiller as White Goodman, a super rich, super fit and arrogant president and founder of the Globo Gym franchise. Look for an unanticipated cameo role by cyclist Lance Armstrong. Amusing circumstances and comical characters are in this movie. Enjoy!
Based upon the entertaining and famous 1960′s small screen series by the same name, “The Beverly Hillbillies” follows the activities of the Jed Clampett family when they move to Beverly Hills after accidentally finding oil on their countryside land in Arkansas and becoming a millionaire.
The cast of the movie is extremely good with Jim Varney as Jed Clampett, Cloris Leachman as Granny. Lily Tomlin aptly plays the part of Miss Jane Hathaway. Erika Eleniak as Elly Mae Clampett and Diedrich Bader as Jethro Bodine. A hilarious adaptation but still incomparable to the comical TV show that many of us grew up with.
