i can read the notes on the staff but it takes sometime to
know which note it is and to play it on the guitar ..
i was wondering if there was an easy and a fast way to learn notation ??
or it just becomes better with practice ..
and i was wondering if there is some music sheets to practice notation ?

    How to Sight Read Music

I have been playing for a year, and I am currently in 4 bands with some friends and trust me, just like speed and acuuracy took time so will the notation,…just learn what you have from the notation and play that one song over bout 3 times then go to the next,..wat i like to do is hear what i am playing without looking at the notation and thenm play only looking and see how you do, if you have an ear for ur music this should become quit simple for u in bout 2-3 wekks, good luck and keep doing wat u love man!

Just keep practicing your reading. There are method books that are meant to help you improve sight reading; i.e. each exercise is a little more difficult than the last, to help you improve.

Another thing you can do is to get a copy of the Norton Scores and read along on the score as you listen to the music.

Try to put yourself in situations where you must read what’s on the page withou faking, such as a stage band or the pit band in a local community theatre production. Guitar players that read are a very valuable commodity to such musical directors. If you do OK in one show, you’ll get called for lots more. And you can get paid for it! (not a lot, but you can actually get paid to play your guitar… how cool is that?)
