how can i learn to read music and play and sing at the same time in a couple of days?

    Sight Reading Music

    Well, this is how I do it. Pretend that the notes (melody) of a song are in the chords you are playing. This is because your brain will make it harder, because it knows that the chord root is not the note that you are singing. You also need to practice as much as you can

    All you can do is give it your best. If it works great. If it doesn’t then you have something to work on for the future.

    Unfortunately it’s going to be almost impossible to learn that fast and actually be able to do something with the information. You might be able to cram and memorize but not the way you’d need to be able to and actually use it when you’re nervous in front of the producer. I’d just say to take the time to learn and be ready for next time. Check out the site below as a good resource.

    There’s an old musician’s trick.

    You just play any note.

    Failing that, you’re screwed.
