Santa Claus(e)-The pianist. asked:
I am teaching myself to play the piano(keyboard) and I am doing a good job I have
1)Mastered all the notes found in the white and black keys on the piano and learned to walk up to the piano and say each note name.
2)Mastered naming and counting intervals
3)mastered major scales(example) the 5th note of the A major scale is E.
4)I know all the letter notes for the treble and bass staffs and clefs.
I know too much about piano and I am not going to stop learning new things.

Learning to Read Music
The hardest part comes when you can sit down and play every note of a piece perfectly, with the proper expression, dynamics and phrasing.
That’s when the *real* work begins.
