Whats an effective way to learn how to read sheet music so that the notes come second nature to me without having to do any thinking to read the notes? And how can I learn everything such as time signatures, note durations etc…

This will get you started, but it won’t become second nature until you get in years of practice and experience.

One simple basic rule to read music. Any type of music and anytime….
Use the STARS!
S- Signatures: such as time signature, key signature (is it D Major d minor and etc.)
T- Tempo: Adante, Adagio, Largo, and etc.
A- Accents: (meaning the notes that are not included in the Key) example “Key of D Major, F natural would be an accent because in DM scale, F is F sharp”
R- Rhythm: Triples and etc.
S- Styles: slurs, sticcato, marcato, and etc.
Learning to Read Music
Second nature without thinking isn’t going to happen. Ever.
The best I can offer is theory books and practice. Spending an hour studying the grand staff and you’ll know then location of the notes.
Spend at least 20 minutes a day working on scales to help develop your ear.
Spend a half hour doing rhythm studies with a metronome.
… all of it dedicated study, not just “looking at pages”.
